MP4 Players

An MP4 Player is the marketing term given to certain portable media players that meet certain formats and standards. The name is actually untrue of most MP4 Players as the majority of them are not compatible with the MPEG-4 (.mp4) video format. The term actually is used to explain there progression from MP3 Players.

The first “MP4 Player” was the Archos Jukebox Multimedia, this was the first portable media player that was given the name MP4 Player. MP4 Players are a great way of having all your music and videos in one place for when you are on the move, the majority of the newer multimedia devices support video /sound recording, an FM transmitter for radio and some even come with basic games.
